Why I Fired My Copywriter… (Video Sales Letters)

by Lee McIntyre

In 2009 one of my online businesses sold 15,058 information products in just ONE of our shopping carts.

And the really interesting things is I did most of this without even one sales letter!

Go below to watch an interesting case study on why I’ve fired my copywriter and why I now use NINJA video sales letters for 95% of my products…

Get the Flash Player to see the wordTube Media Player.

If you’ve ever felt that you didn’t have enough time to create more products…

…or that your sales conversions were too low…

…then you MUST watch this video case study right now!

What did you think? Let me know in the comments below…

Lee

The Rapid Sales System should be killer. I was just thinking (as I was coming over to watch your video) that you should create a tutorial on this topic because you've certainly mastered it.

Looking forward to hearing more tomorrow :-)

Lee,

I released a little $27 ebook to my list last fall. I'm an affiliate and it was my first product. I put up a 15 minute Camtasia video which captured a simple Powerpoint presentation.

No text at all (and kind of an Ugly video). Sold 900+ copies of that report in 24 hours!

Video works!

and things like this it's what we should be looking for.

Thanks for the video.

Hey Lee,
I didn't realize that video converted that well, people seem to have mixed feelings on video squeeze pages.
All the best

As they say a picture is worth a 1000 words, on the other hand what is a video worth, a video is worth 100,000? Time to get to work and make some videos!

Hi Lee,

I know this is the way to go but….how about the quality of the videos?
does this matter and will it affect conversions do you think?

Lee,

Have you ever split-tested Video Sales Letters by traffic source? Meaning Video sales letters used on your list Vs. Affiliate Traffic Vs. Just-Opted In Traffic?

I suspect that Video sales letters work better when you already have some sort of pre-selling already done. Would love to know…

Thanks for sharing this Lee. For me, it still depends on how you present your sales letter. There are some instances that I prefer to read a sales page than watch a video sales letter, especially if the video can not be forwarded or play backwards. On the other hand, I still prefer a text sales page if it’s a short one.

Overall, it would be better if you have the sales video sales page and the text sales page at the same time.

Kind regards,

Gary

Your results are so phenomenal that it’s hard to imagine that ordinary people could get them.

Hey there Lee!
Awesome result and achievement you’ve had with video promo.
I know this stuff works and you have proved it.
But having said that, I notice your video have a strong element of copywriting in it…
…and maybe (maybe this is just a joke), you fire the copywiter from writing copy to write what you’re going to say in the video, possible?
Copywriting is not just what you read Lee. But you’re the man.
15,000 plus sales could not had happened by accident, right?
All said and done, visual helps but words sell!
Have a nice day.

Hey Lee,

Yet again some really good free content from you, dunno how you keep churning it out!

I like that fact that you share your personal results with us, too many people push the theory of methods working but have not even tested them out themselves, I hate that.

I love video because I feel it’s more personal than a sales letter, and I personally feel like I connect better.

More products, more money sounds good to me, and if it takes a massive chunk off the creation time then I for one am all for it.

I do kinda dread trying out video sales letters, scared of getting in front of the camera to be honest, but I am going to take your advice and try them out.

My mouth is watering waiting for the resource you are creating for us, can’t wait!

Bring on the unfair advantages….

Thanks Sally :)

Hey Lee,
My fingers itch to write compelling content and I know that videos are the way, but, how do you start. The basics are always the hardest to learn.
I truly believe in keeping it as simple as possible. Do you have an ABC of video creation I can watch and apply?
Thanks so much for your help. I really have a great attitude about your style and desire to help others.
Thanks for being there.
