Internet Marketing Changes In 2010

by Lee McIntyre

I've recently spent a LOT of time thinking about my online business and have decided that I MUST make some changes.

Rather than keeping this to myself I've just uploaded a valuable training module below that outlines everything

I was going to sell this... but then figured it would be cool to just give it away to say THANK YOU for sticking with me... it's appreciated.

It's simply a casual chat about how I see our industry changing and I think you'll like it.

So just hit play below to get started immediately:

Lee - spot on with your information. Great stuff! Is it part of your marketing process that I had a dream with you in it the other day? We were drinking a beer and celebrating the fact that you were the start in a hit action movie drama. lol. (yes, I really had this dream)

Keep up the good work.

Hiya Lee,

Bet James dreads you coming back from your holidays ha ha.

It's funny, I actually do feel like I missed the boat to being a success online, always wished I started earlier than I did, and never quit when I did.

I believe this time round is the right time for me, thanks to all your top tips I have a much better understanding of running an online business.

After watching many of your training videos, I have learned I need to track my results more rather than relying on guesswork which I previously done.

I am becoming a stats addict, but I think that's a good thing.

I always like watching your videos, really great that you share so much info, the good and bad sides, Sally :)

Hey Lee, cool video. Always appreciate your honest approach. Sorry to hear about the back pain. My brother had a slipped disc and lost his job through it as a BBC cameraman. Cool you can laugh about it. I know what a nightmare it can be. Cheers. Nic @ Generous Entrepreneurs Online.

Hi Lee,
Support on the weekend ! FABULOUS !!
It is absolutely true that your weekday support is second to none. I always know that I can count on James to help me along, especially as I am so technologically challenged !

It is difficult for those of us "across the pond" to connect when we are actually working on our site because of the time difference and if I don't get a question in before sometime around 6am on my end (particularly on a Friday) then I know that I will have to wait all weekend for a response.

What I enjoyed most about this video was that it was an honest and open discussion about the state of the art of what we are all doing here. Your comments regarding the credit card issues, I'm sure, are no surprise to anyone. Things are what they are right now, but people need the training and the informaton now more than ever. They need the personal empowerment that comes with knowing that no one can give them the old "pink slip" when they own and accept responsibility for their own income.

Keep up the good work Lee ! I look forward to this year with you in point and click, I have learned so much already !

Maureen

You're absolutely right! You always deliver a massive amount of content.

I suppose what I find a bit scary is that things are changing so fast that for those of us who are just getting started at putting a business online, that it feels like we're having to start over every day? Will we ever make it to step 2?

Le e ... video had me laughing and learning. What ya got against Russians?! : )

As an affiliate of yours what would you recommend that 'we' should aim for in terms of visits:opt ins:sales? Where do you think the tipping point lies?

That was very very interesting what you say about conversions. Good video and definately great inside information I'd normally only expect from a paid webinar or part of a continuity programme (ironic that).

Thanks!

Hi Lee,

Thanks again for another great insight into your business and also your personal life :)

You mention in the video that you must cater for different types of customers including customers who want the 'done for you' solution.

You also mention that you're considering a continuity in a box type offer?

Well i'm one of your 'done for you' customers and the continuity in a box offer is EXACTLY what i'm looking for!

If you're still going ahead with that project then i'd love to have some more info?

Speak soon,
Ben

Wicked Video Lee,

its your awsome free content that always keeps me coming back for more, some really interesting stats on credit card declines specifically. I shall be making note of this and putting in the relevant steps you mentioned when I set up my nest membership site!

Best regards,

The passive income uncut doesn't seem to be as good as you say it is. I have followed your blog and all your free content for quite some time now and just about everything you mentioned in passive income uncut is the same as you have been saying in all your free content. of course what you say is all very true but I don't see any value that is different from your free content that you ofter. Actually I am saying your free content rocks. ;)

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts..

What you say about how marketing has changed reminds me of the dot com bubble.. when the companies that survived were the ones offering REAL value to their users..

Hi Lee,
Great training and great content as always. I have been struggling with this internet thing for over a year now still waiting to make my first dollar (or should i say pound as i am in UK) I think i just get too tied up in sorting out problems and finding time to devote to it. Your success is an inspiration to all of us, keep up the good work and maybe one day i will be sharing a beer with you

Best wishes

This is a follow-up comment to my last comment made a few minutes ago. Now, this content you just presented was very welcomed and terrific to hear. Your experience with a number of issues you're dealing with in your business and the solutions your working with to resolve and improve those issues is a great insight to what people just starting out can look forward to dealing with eventually in their own business.
I really liked the fact that I wasn't bombarded with the overkill presentations on your products and how much money you made in the last few minutes and how much money you expect to make in the next few minutes. I think we've made the point on that.
Anyway, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed and appreciate it when you do this kind of content - I mean the 'no pitch' here's some random off the cuff stuff I've been dealing with in my business that you'll come across sooner or later and would probably like to hear about how I've dealt with it.
You come across more real and genuine and people can relax and lay back without all that high pressure sales BS and really listen to what gems you have to offer.
Besides, your lessons and instruction, this is the kind of content I'm interested in listening to because it all relates to me and my business. Once I've got that in place then when taking it to the next level I would be more than inclined to hear your sales pitches, But only when it directly relates to the next level I would be trying to achieve.
Knowing that you could pitch your products, and memberships, and continuity programs and whatever else until way after the sun burns out - it burns me out. So, lets take things in an orderly and timely fashion with great relevancy and will reach our goals with a lot less stress and a lot more fun with profits along the way. OK? Great!
I'm going to try a few more content/videos on this page and if I don't leave a comment on any of them it means I bailed out before I crashed.
Thanks for the opportunity to take the weight off my chest, I can breathe a lot easier now. Lee, I think you're great don't ever forget that. If you ever get down my way -Florida- or if I can generate some bucks from your program and fly up to one of your seminars I'd really look forward to meeting you and maybe spending a little time in a pub. I don't drink - can't stand the stuff - I'm more of a toker , but I do dig classic coke - the drink not the powder. Although,.... never mind that now. Anyways, gotta go, I'll be listening.

Hi Lee,

Getting the insights from your video is invaluable. You are right that this is not usually done by the majority of other marketers. They only tend to share selectively in order to glorify themselves and sell their stuff.

Being updated like this is great.

Thanks,
Vance

I found this content very helpful. I liked hearing that $10 paypal sales are on the up because that is such a great way to introduce buyers into my sales funnel - after all these people have voted YES for me with their paypal account! So it is my job to now woo these buyers through my exciting content into becoming regular buyers who may join my continuity program. I found it exciting too that you get good result with selling a $197 product and then achieving a good conversion rate with the free offer on a continuity program.

I think most people like to join continuity programs because it's all about self development and feeling that you are spending some hard earned money on yourself, not just on the bills :) I join marketing programs for resource materials and intensive business training. I would also join a niche interest program like piano lessons or cookery for fun too if I saw one that appealed to me. Something to look forward to each week or month and a great excuse for more ME time!!

Incidentally, regards your increased rate of emailing your list, I always thought you were misguided to neglect that - goes for any marketer - constant rapport with your list is the cornerstone to online success. So I opened one of your recent emails about James Dyson's Optimize Press - WOW! Now without realizing it, this was the product of my dreams I had been wishing for. I love WP because it is easy to work with. So I bought it!

Best $97 worth probably ever for my business! You see, if you weren't emailing regularly I wouldn't have been able to discover this awesome product so more emails means increased resources for your readership and yes, we love you for it! Thankyou for sharing James Dyson's Optimize Press, I love it already (72 hours proud owner)!

Lee, never be afraid to tweek and implement both gentle and radical changes - you have a loyal subscriber base who are avid for your advice because you don't rush in and promote every IM Joe's latest "Me Too" product but instead you stand alone and have some deep insights really worth listening to. Plus you generously share the audio/video content here for free. Keep on with your good work, Lee!
